Fished at Parker Bend this morning and was surprised to find that the bite was very slow and the fish were pretty small. It was a nice foggy, cool morning, and I really enjoyed sipping on coffee! The area was filled with fishermen who were eagerly waiting for the fish to awaken. Hopefully the trout decided to become more aggressive after I left to get a coffee refill. The fish caught there this morning bit on yellow, orange, rainbow and garlic. Happily enough, this was a 'throw 'em back day'. The Bertrand launch ramp area was pretty crowded with both bank and boat fishermen. The fish in that location were more accommodating and larger. Go elbow in a spot and catch your dinner! The generation scheduled for 8 through 9 PM is slated to be at 44% of capacity. Today, the weather is expected to bring us a high temperature of 84 degrees F. under partly sunny skies this morning, changing to mostly cloudy this afternoon. The winds are predicted to be southerly at 6 MPH.
