Many fishermen wait all year for the whites to begin the spawn at Parker Bend. Well, their wait is over! The whites are there and are doing their ‘thing.' Fished there both yesterday and today and found that the whites, being as fickle as they are, liked different lures each day. Yesterday, it was blue on silver Rapalas; and today, it was jigs. The trout were not only watching the action, but they were eager to add to one’s stringer. They bit salmon peach, fluorescent orange, hatchery formula and garlic. The wind kicked up to ‘brisk’ and the 5 PM scheduled generation began at 4 PM. No shock there! Was a great day on the river.Generation is scheduled for 5 PM tomorrow....? The high temperature is predicted to hit 81 degrees F., under cloudy skies with the chance of showers throughout the day. The winds should be from the south at 8 MPH, gusting to 13. Get out and go fish!
