Fished early this morning at White Bass Cove on Beaver Lake.  For this morning, the name did not fit the location.  Neither whites nor walleye appeared to be present that early.  Left the cove and launched at Houseman Access to see if the whites were back in town.  The water temperature at Houseman Access was 48.6 degrees F. and the whites were not in the mood to play.  There were a few 'marked' between Blue Springs and Houseman, but the were very deep and, apparently, sound asleep.  Trolled back upstream toward the Hwy 62 bridge and caught trout on all three of the lures tried. (Rapala CD-9 black on silver, Rapala CD-9 black on gold and on a blue on silver Bass Pro 1/6th ounce spoon)  The fishing is good. Tomorrow promises to be a bit warmer, so do not be surprised if the whites show up on scene to resume their spawning activities.

The generation for tomorrow is scheduled only for a 44% flow at 9 PM.  The prediction is for a high temperature of 78 degrees F., under partly sunny skies with winds from the SSW at 8 MPH, gusting to 14.  I do believe Spring has returned!  Do not waste it.....GO FISH!
