Both yesterday and this morning we tried fishing in the early morning to see if the walleye were up river in any numbers. Both days we have caught brown trout but no walleye. We did catch a walleye near Beaver Dam yesterday afternoon. We were using a Little Cleo with a barbless treble hook. The fish was a male that was just over the legal limit. This morning, the brown we caught was 3 1/2 pounds and was 20 5/8 inches. We plan on going out later today to see if the rainbows are still in the biting mood. Bet they are! Today promises to be a great day for being out on the hunt for fish, so go get them! The generation for the day was scheduled for this morning only; and it should have ceased at 10. The weather prediction calls for a high temperature of 57 degrees F. under mostly sunny skies. Winds are from the NNW at an average of 6 MPH. The water temperature at Parker Bend is 46 degrees F.
