We fished this morning up river from the trophy area and found takers for all colors of power bait used. Have you noticed that there are some VERY TINY mosquitoes in the area? You might think about taking some spray, but be careful to keep it off your fingers if you are baiting hooks. Trout do not seem to like the smell/taste of it. But I digress. We fished for less than 45 minutes and, between the two of us caught a limit. Sam kept some, but the rest were returned to the cool clear waters. This is a great morning to be out, either on the water or on the bank, fishing! This afternoon, there will be generation from 2 through 7 at 88% of capacity. Although it will create a challenge for bank fishermen, those in a boat will be able to catch fish simply by changing their normal fishing strategy. The high temperature predicted for today is 87 degrees F., under cloudy, and sometimes rainy, skies. Winds are from the WSW at 9 MPH. Tomorrow, the high is expected to reach 90 under partly cloudy skies, with winds from the WNW at 5 MPH, gusting to 7. Hope to see you out on the water tomorrow!
