Fished at Parker Bend this morning and found that the bite was extremely slow until around 8 AM. Then, the trout decided to come out and play with yellow power bait. Caught and released a few before deciding that coffee was calling. Fly fishermen were planning on using both tan and olive midges, size 18 hooks. They were still in the process of luring the trout when we called it a morning. There were fish all around us all morning; and since we caught and released, their number was the same when we left. We left them for YOU. Go get them. There is a wonderful chance of thunderstorms this morning raining on your parade beginning around 11 AM and lasting for a couple of hours, according to what the radar picture is showing. Be careful and have fun!Generation is scheduled for 5 and 6 PM. The weather prediction indicated that there will be thundershowers with the chance of severe winds and possible hail. The skies should be cloudy with winds from the ENE at 4 MPH, (except for the winds in the thundershowers). Take rain gear!
