Fished at Parker Bend this morning in a try for the elusive brown trout. The place was pretty crowded with folks out after the rainbows, trout, that is. Although we did not end up with a brown, some of the fishermen around us were successful with the rainbows. They were using power bait eggs, both yellow and red. The bite was fairly slow, but patience paid off for those who held on. The morning was foggy and cool, perfect for easy and enjoyable fishing. Those people who fished downstream from the ramps were much more successful than those on the ramps. We plan on trying for browns tomorrow morning at a different location.Generation for today is scheduled for 4 PM at 22% of capacity. Weather prediction calls for mostly sunny skies with a high temperature of 80 degrees F., and southerly winds at 3 MPH. This is another great day for being on the hunt for the trout!
