Got a late start on the fishing trail due to the rainy weather. Of course, no one wants to get wet while fishing! Tried the trout bite at the gravel bar at the ramp closest to Beaver Dam and caught a few on rainbow and yellow power bait. Moved to the hole down stream from the ramps at Parker bend and had some success with garlic and fluorescent orange. Moved to the ramp area and found that the trout were biting there better than any other place fished earlier. The trout were biting on spring green, pumpkin green, white, salmon peach and chartreuse. My subconscious must have thought it was time for a swim, so after stepping on a tilting rock, it was a 47 degree F. swim. Talk about a photo op. Thank you Patricia for retrieving my glasses! At any rate, the bite was excellent at the ramps at Parker Bend. As usual, you should try to get out there and fish....just stay out of my swimming hole. Ha! Tomorrow, the weather is expected to warm a bit with a high temperature of 67 degrees F. under partly sunny skies with winds from the SSW at 7 MPH, gusting to 13. Generation is scheduled for one hour, 3 PM, at 44% of capacity.
