Tried fishing today at Parker Bend even though generation was still in progress. Went downstream from the ramps and threw spoons and tried micro jigs to no avail. Moved to the rocks between the ramps and tried power bait with a small amount of success. The trout caught bit on salmon peach, but ignored rainbow. Those were the only two colors that I used this morning, but the fisherman beside me was using green, white and worms with no luck. There were several other people fishing, but no one was doing very much. Perhaps when the water slows, things will pick up. There were two fly fishermen on scene, but they were experiencing the same luck as everyone else. It is a nice day to be trying you luck, but remember to dress for the conditions. Have fun!Generation is scheduled from 7 through 9 AM and from 6 through 8 PM at 44% of capacity. Keep in mind that those times are scheduled to change if the Corps decides that it needs to lower the lake further and adds in a few hours of its own. A good example of that took place yesterday! Unless you were in a boat, fishing (from the bank) was extremely difficult. The weather prediction indicates a high temperature today of 59 degrees F. under mostly sunny skies after 8 AM with southerly winds of 16 MPH. Dress warmly!
