Fished this afternoon at Bertrand launch ramp where we tried some new baits and combinations. All but one worked far beyond our expectations, with very active trout response. Sam and I caught a dozen or so fish between us in thirty minutes. Satisfied that the new baits will ‘cut the mustard’, so to speak, we headed for home. There were several fishermen up river from us who were doing OK, but, between the five of them, only caught two in the time period we were there. We can not wait to try out our new ‘tricks’ on one of our up-coming trips!Generation is scheduled from 7 through 9 AM and 6 through 9 PM tomorrow. The weather forecast is for a high temperature of 34 degrees F tomorrow under partly sunny skies. Bundle up and have fun!
