Launched at 7:00 this morning and fished the Spider Creek area, picking up several trout. Moved closer to the Hwy 62 bridge just for a change of scenery and to see if the fish were any larger. We were enjoying the cool weather and the beautiful scenery along with catching and releasing all of the trout that we felt should have been with their parents. The two guests on board kept me very busy netting their catch. We ended up hauling in more than 20 trout, but only kept our limit. The trout bit good until around 9:30, then they took an extended break. By 10, we had had enough fun and headed in to clean the catch. (Life is not ALL fun and games). Was a great morning! Hope that you had the chance to wet a line. There is generation going on through 7 PM today. The high temperature today was 81 degrees F., under sunny skies with NE winds of 5 MPH. Except for tomorrow’s 79 degree predicted high, the weather should be a repeat of that of today. Tomorrow, generation begins at 1 and goes on through 6 PM.
