This morning, fished from the bank in three different locations beginning with a spot just below Beaver Dam. The bite there was fairly slow, but on the bright side, the trout were small. Ha! Moved to the 'turnaround' and threw barbless spoons for a bit and did not get a fishy reaction. Started to feel left out until I noticed that there was a fly fisherman nearby who was experiencing the same luck. Moved to Bertrand launch ramp where the bite was much better, although slow. The trout seemed to like the lighter colors, especially yellow and cheese. The slow bite stopped at 8:30. There may be some stocking action sometime this morning around 11. Last week, the stocking took place on Friday. Who knows what tricks the powers that be have in store for us? Get out and fish to see what those 'tricks' might be!There is generation scheduled from 2 through 7 PM. at 44% of capacity. The high temperature for today is expected to be 87 degrees F., under mostly sunny skies with SSW winds at 10 MPH.
