Began the fishing day by checking the water level status at White Bass Cove and found that there was room for only one fisherman to cast without having waders. The only surface activity noted was the occasional bass going after a floating morsel. Moved to an area below Beaver Dam and fished for trout. The bite was OK on both chunky cheese and hatchery formula. The fish were fairly small, but showed much heart with the effort to escape the hook, not that we were keeping fish. Moved to Parker Bend and found only one other fisherman out and using two red power bait eggs with some success. The bite there was slow, but the fish were larger. Tried downstream from the ramps and found that there is not a large amount of gravel bar above water.Tomorrow, there is generation slated for 2 PM through 7 PM, the same as for today. The high temperature predicted for tomorrow is a warm 87 degrees F., under partly sunny skies with southerly winds at 6 MPH, gusting to 9. Sounds like another great day to go fish!
