DSC_0011 - Version 2Today's fishing was accomplished by Sam, my business partner, who had an hour to spare this morning. He sat himself down at Houseman Access at 6:00 AM and enjoyed a cup of coffee while catching ten trout, five of which he kept. He indicated that the bite was extremely 'soft'; and that one needs to pay close attention to the rod tip activity, since very few of the bites were with 'authority.' The trout were biting on orange and pink power bait. The pink seemed to be the color of choice. Sam indicated that none of the fish kept were 'stockers,' as indicated by the salmon-like fillets. All of the fishing for this report was at Houseman Access, but we plan on moving up river tomorrow, so Tuesday's report will be much more comprehensive. In the meantime, go out and catch some fish! There is generation scheduled for 4 hours this afternoon, beginning at 4 PM and stopping after 7 PM. The first and last hour will be at 44% of capacity while the middle two hours will be at 88%. That just may cool the waters a bit further downstream. The weather forecast for today calls for a high temperature of 90 degrees F. under partly sunny skies with winds from the SSW at 15 MPH. Stay hydrated and have FUN!
