Fished this morning at Parker Bend and found that the trout went for orange and yellow power bait, favoring the orange. There were several people fishing downstream from the ramp, and, surprisingly, nobody on the ramp. That is a first! Someone at the scene said that he had called Fish and Game and was told that there would be fish stocked today. If that happens, it would make for a fun afternoon catching and releasing.Yesterday we fished at Houseman Access downstream from the tail-waters and did pretty good. There, the trout were going for yellow and orange power bait. The water temperature was in the low 70s at the surface, but down deep, in the cooler water, is where the trout were being caught. Generation is scheduled for 5 PM at 22% of capacity, and only for one hour. The weather prediction shows a high temperature of 82 degrees F. under partly sunny skies with winds southerly at 10 MPH. There is a chance of afternoon thundershowers. Start the weekend off properly by going fishing!
