Fished from the bank in three places along the river, beginning at the Beaver Dam and ending at Bertrand Launch Ramp. The bite was very slow this morning, that is, about every ten minutes or so. The best bite was at Bertrand, where the trout seemed to prefer salmon peach and yellow. Orange, unlike earlier in the week, did not turn a fishy head. The morning was cool enough to make the wait for the bite comfortable and the coffee even more appreciated. Looks like another great day to be out enjoying both the day and fishing. Generation is scheduled to start off with a bang at 3 PM with an 88% flow for one hour, reducing to 44% through 6 PM. The forecast for the day calls for a high temperature of 85 degrees F. under partly sunny skies with winds from the NW at 5 MPH.
