Image 7-3-15 at 4.43 PM     Fished up river from Parker Bend and found that the trout were not too interested in eating anything but yellow, salmon peach, chunky cheese and garlic power bait. They ignored the darker colors like hatchery formula and green pumpkin. Met several fishermen during this morning’s jaunt, some of whom were using spinners to no effect. Kept fish to give to friends who just arrived back in town following a business trip. Not too lucky a day for the trout, but a good one for my friends! This morning was cool and damp on the river, making it a perfect morning to sip on a cup of java while waiting for a trout to bite. Hope your plans for the weekend include some time on the river! There is generation scheduled from 2 through 7 PM. The high temperature for today is predicted to hit 80 degrees F., under partly cloudy skies with the chance of thundershowers. The winds should be out of the WNW at 5 MPH.. Have a Great July 4th weekend!
