This morning we fished downstream from the tail-waters and learned that the trout were biting on salmon peach and yellow. The bite was sort of slow, and very light. The trout that we kept for lunch had nothing in their stomachs which MAY indicate that the bite will pick up later in the morning. The water temperature in the Houseman area was in the 50 degree range. As reported in the report yesterday the bite was slower up river than out of the tail-waters. The folks who fished with us yesterday sent us a picture of the meal resulting from a few of the fish they caught, (see below). Looks good....YUM YUM!Generation is scheduled to occur for 6 hours, from 2 through 7 PM. The first and last hours will be at 44% and the others at 88%. The weather prediction calls for a high temperature of 87 degrees F. under partly cloudy skies with northerly winds at 4 MPH. The morning temperatures have been delightful. If you can get out, try early with coffee and a fishing rod! Tomorrow, plan on having a light jacket, since the high temperature is expected to be 74 degrees F.

This morning's catch is now a trout dinner!
