Launched at Houseman Access at 6:30 this morning and proceeded up river into the 48 degree F. water to see if the bite continued to be as good as it has been for the last few days. The trout were biting on yellow, salmon peach, rainbow and chartreuse power bait. They did not care for spring green or white. The bite was not even close to that of the past couple of days. We did catch about 20 in two hours; but there were four of us fishing. Tried downstream from the tail-waters where the bite was even slower. The morning on the river was pleasantly cool, but very foggy. If you launch early, be on the lookout for other boats. We moved at minimal speed to avoid collisions with, not only boats, but also floating tree limbs. Wouldn't that ruin one's day?!!Generation is scheduled to begin at two PM at 44% of capacity increasing to 88% from three through seven. The weather prediction calls for a high temperature of 92 degrees F. under mostly sunny skies with winds from the SSW at11 MPH.
