Getting up early is fine if we're fishing. We launched at Houseman at 6:30 a.m. and headed up river in the fog. In 30 minutes time we had limited out, but since this was a catch and release day, we continued to pursue trout. The young man in these photos proved to be quite the fisherman. He was patient in waiting for the bite and listened to all the tips the guide had for him. He sure made his Grandpa proud. Trout seemed to bite on everything we threw today, including the red, white, and blue they have ignored lately. The heavy generation schedule of the past couple of days is due to continue today, so be aware of rising water.

How'd I do?
