Sam and I fished at Parker bend this morning during generation just to try out a couple of new, (to us), lures. Caught one trout and had a couple of strikes. Then, company business interfered with our fun and we left. Later this afternoon, I went back to Parker Bend and bait fished both down river from the ramps and, after catching and releasing 5, moved to the ramp and caught several more. Interesting thing was, downstream, the only bait the fish wanted was yellow, while at the ramp, they preferred green pumpkin. Hmmm? Fished on the ramp with our local 'eagle photographer', ( actually, no critter is safe from the giant lens). As I was headed back to the truck, passed a fly fisherman who was on the way to try his luck. Although we spoke, he did not let on as to what fly he was going to try.The high temperature today was 69 degrees F. under partly cloudy afternoon skies, with winds from the south at 14 MPH. Tomorrow, there is no generation scheduled until 7 through 9 PM. The high predicted for tomorrow is 78 degrees F. under partly cloudy skies with southerly winds of 14 MPH gusting to 22. Another good day to fish!
