Launched this morning at Houseman Access and checked downstream for white bass activity. There was nothing other than trout that took swipes at our lures. Moved back upstream and played in the rain for a short time before calling the fishing game for breakfast. Returned to the river at 2:20 PM and caught quite a few trout. The trout seem to be rather willing to play, both on lures and on bait. We noted that there is more bait moving upstream, which should bring both whites and walleye with it. This could prove to be an exciting fishing week! There is no generation scheduled for today or for tomorrow. The weather prediction for today calls for a high temperature of 69 degrees F. under rainy skies with winds from the SSW at 13 MPH, gusting to 30. Tomorrow should reach a high temperature of 76 degrees F. under mostly sunny skies with winds from the SSW at 6 MPH, gusting to 13. We plan on being out there and hope to see you! DSC_0042
