Launched at Houseman Access this morning at 6:30 and trolled for walleye upstream past the Hwy 62 bridge. Also kept an eye open for any sign of white bass. We neither picked up a walleye nor saw any whites, but we did catch a whole bunch of rainbows, some of which were kept and are displayed below. Moved down river to Holiday Island and checked the fish situation in Leatherwood Creek. There were ample markings in the creek, but not one fish came on deck to visit. Moved to Beaver and checked for whites in Butler Creek. Sorry, nobody was home! The water temperature at Beaver was about 50 degrees F.. a good sign. Tomorrow we will check other parts of the river and let you know what we find. Today is a great Saturday to be out and fishing. Today, the generation will commence from 5 PM through 9 PM. The weather is predicted to give us a high temperature of 72 degrees F. under mostly sunny skies with winds from the SSE at 7 MPH. Tomorrow, the generation is scheduled to begin at 6 PM through 9 PM at 88% capacity. Skies should be mostly sunny with winds from the south at 8 MPH. Hope you get a chance to get out and enjoy the day!
