Headed out to fish this morning at 8 AM, which as we fishermen know, is toward the end of the morning 'prime time.' Tried close to the Beaver Dam and was able to drink my coffee in peace, since there was no trout bite for the 20 minutes I was there. Moved down river to Parker Bend and tossed in a line at the holes 150 yards downstream from the ramps. What a difference! The trout bit about every 4 minutes. It took catching eight before I had my limit, since three of the fish were in the 'slot' at 13, 13 1/4 and 15 1/4. The only color I tried was Chunky Cheese, by Gulp. It was a great morning to fish the holes at Parker. There is generation slated to begin at 1 PM, and continue through 6 PM. The high temperature for today is expected to hit a very humid 84º F under cloudy skies with a chance of thunderstorms. The wind is southerly at 9 MPH.
