This morning, we fished in two places on the river below the Beaver Dam. The first spot was at the access closest to the dam, and the other was at Parker Bend. Directly below the dam, the bite was so slow that both Sam and I suffered from fishing A.D.D., so we left for Parker after very few trout, none of which we kept. We fished Parker Bend, first at the ramp, which was slow, then about 150 yards downriver, where the trout were hungry. They bit on almost anything we threw. What a change from the previous spots! There were two fly fisherman in the water who were having no luck. One of them moved closer to us to see if he could liven up his morning, but the trout did not accommodate him. We do not know what they were using, or we would pass that info along to you.Tomorrow, generation is scheduled from 4 through 8 PM. The high temperature predicted for tomorrow is 77 degrees F. with southerly winds of 16 MPH, gusting to 28. We should be blessed with partly cloudy skies, with a good chance of thundershowers beginning around noon. We will be out on the rivertomorrow, and hope to see you out there!
