Sam and I fished on the newly deposited gravel that now graces the banks below the ramps at Parker Bend. We used yellow, salmon peach, garlic, rainbow, pink and fluorescent orange power bait. Within 30 minutes we had caught 12 trout, two of which were 'slots' which we returned to the river. Needless to say, the fish were very hungry! There were several folks fishing Parker, but none were where we were entrenched. We did not fish in any other areas today. The weather was tolerable, even with the chilly breeze. It is amazing how much discomfort one can overlook when the fish are keeping him, or her, busy. Since tomorrow promises to be a little warmer, why not plan a fishing afternoon?Generation for the rest of today is scheduled to be from 7 through 9 PM. The high temperature for today was 44 º F., with sunny skies graced with WSW winds of 7 MPH.
