Fished the gravel bar downstream from 'river access 1,’ the launch ramp closest to the Beaver Dam, for those who missed the previous report. Took a chair and enjoyed soaking up some rays while feeding the trout. There were quite a few folks fishing there but the most fish were being caught by the fly-fishermen. I caught about a dozen, but fed an entire school. There were schools of small brown trout, (about 5" long), swimming close to the bank. Looks like some great snacks for the walleye! Left for the homestead at 2:15 and, with Sam, began planning a boat excursion for later in the week. The weather appears to be in the 'early spring' mode for the rest of this week. Hope you can get out and enjoy it.Generation for tomorrow is scheduled from 7 through 9 AM and PM. The high temperature for tomorrow should be 55º F., under partly sunny skies. The winds will be a bit higher, hitting 12 MPH with gusts to 23.
