Fished this morning at Parker Bend and learned first hand that the published generation schedule had suffered some ‘modifications.’ Big shock! Experienced action about every 20 minutes, which was a severe test of one’s patience. The trout bit on hatchery formula, salmon peach and pink. The generation halted at about 7:30 AM and the water began slowing over the next 45 minutes. By then, a couple of fisher-people had arrived on scene and were fishing the down river ramp. As I left, one of them had reeled in a nice trout. Hope that the bite continues to reward those who are out fishing. The generation schedule that was posted indicated that there would be no generation from midnight through 6 AM, then from 5 through 9 PM.. It was apparent that the schedule was modified. Good luck! The high temperature for the day is expected to reach 72 degrees F. under partly sunny skies. The wind is from the SSE at 6 MPH.. Remember, fish can still be caught from the bank while the water is moving, just not as quickly as when it is not. Go out and enjoy the day!
