Fished this morning at an area between Bertrand launch ramp and Spider Creek Island and caught trout on both fluorescent orange and chunky cheese. Threw the first cast at about 7:30 AM and was cleaning fish at 8:15. The fish were in the bite mode near the island, but were not doing anything at the Bertrand ramp. There was one other person fishing, and she was at the ramp. When I arrived back at the ramp, she had not had any luck. Due to a busy day schedule, no other locations along the river were tried. Hope you get out and enjoy this beautiful fall day! Generation at 44% of capacity is slated from 2 through 7 PM. The high temperature for today is expected to be 74 degrees F. under mostly sunny skies. The winds should be southerly at 8 MPH.
