This report fell through the cracks yesterday, but here is an update for Tuesday. Sam and I tried our luck at the gravel bar below the ramp closest to the Beaver Dam and found that the trout were more than willing to play. Due to prior commitments, Sam only stayed for a few minutes, then, after putting one on our stringer, had to leave. I put four more on it for the house and left. There were no other fishermen at the gravel bar. The bite was excellent. The fish were caught on yellow, pink, salmon peach, rainbow and garlic. Five baits....five fish. Not a bad 20 minute afternoon! Tomorrow promises to be a little warmer, so perhaps there will be a better showing at the old fishing grounds???Tomorrow the high is predicted to be 49º F. with 4 MPH winds from the SW. Generation is to take place from 7 through 12 AM.
