Since generation took out all of the bank fishing this morning, Sam and I left the shop at 2 PM and checked the trout bite at the launch ramp nearest Beaver Dam. The water continues to drop and has left a bit of the gravel high enough above the river that there is plenty of room for fishermen. The bite of the wind was faster than that of the trout. We did catch fish on salmon peach, chunky cheese and fluorescent orange. The fish also 'hit' rainbow and pink. There were several people fishing that area but only one couple that we saw had a couple of fish on the stringer. The parking lot directly below the dam is taped off to autos, as is the road leading to the campground and the ‘Turnaround.’ Tomorrow the temperature should reach into the low 50 degree range, so plan on a delightful afternoon of being out fishing. The generation for tomorrow is scheduled for 7 through 12 AM. The high temperature is expected to be 51 degrees F., under mostly sunny skies. South winds will be higher than those of today, topping out at 9 MPH. Hope you get the chance to 'wet a line!'
