I finally got to fish today. The generation seemed to have a mind of its own so I went to town too take care of some business this morning and went back this afternoon. I tried several colors of bait, and seemed to do best with yellow. It seemed the fish were non-existent with any of the colors before yellow. The bite was reasonable and I was well-rewarded with a catch for dinner. The wind was a little stiffer than I prefer, but then again it’s fishing. The generation Tuesday morning calls for 7700 cubic feet of water per second at 7 and 8 in the morning and the same at 6 and 7 in the evening. At 8 they are calling for 3850 cubic feet per second.

The wind should be calmer in the morning than it was today, and the temperatures are expected to be 37 in the morning warming to 49 degrees.

The river didn’t seem too busy this afternoon, so if that holds for the morning the fishing spots should be easy to come by.
