Sam and I fished this afternoon up river from Spider Creek and caught trout on yellow, rainbow, garlic, salmon peach and chartreuse. The fish also bit on red-white-blue and nymph grape. They totally ignored white and hatchery formula. We noted that the bite was a bit slower than usual, but it was after 2PM, not the best time for fish activity. There were a couple of other fishermen in the area, but they slipped out while we, (mostly Sam), were catching and releasing those trout that decided to entertain us. The weather was cloudy and 42 degrees F. while we were out. Not too bad for December. After an hour, we decided to thaw out our hands in a warmer environment; so, we headed for the house!Tomorrow, the generation is scheduled from 7 through 8 AM and from 6 through 7 PM at 88% of capacity. The weather is predicted to bring us a high temperature of 42 degrees F. under cloudy skies with winds from the east at 5 MPH, gusting to 7. There is the possibility of rain later in he afternoon. It is good to have 'fishable weather' this time of the year. Of course, we advise that you GO FISH!
