We fished later in the afternoon at the gravel down river from the ramps at Parker Bend and found that the bite was much slower than that of yesterday. Still, the trout bit on yellow, salmon peach, rainbow, pink, fluorescent orange, fluorescent red and salmon egg red. The picture is of a 16 1/2 inch male that was caught on fluorescent orange. All of the fish caught were released back into the river. The turkeys across the river from us seemed to be having a 'hen party' and entertained us throughout our time fishing. This weekend will be a trial for bank and fly-fishermen since generation for both Saturday and Sunday is scheduled to take place from 7 AM through 7 PM. UGH!Tomorrow, the high temperature is predicted to hit 50º F. under partly sunny skies, with WSW winds of 6 MPH.
