It was 'two-fer' today! Fished at Parker Bend this morning after the generation stopped. The bite was very slow, but the morning was sunny and quite nice. Sam and I went back this afternoon to sit in the sun while the trout decided whether or not to grace us with their company. We had a good afternoon until the sun gave way to a cloudy sky. There was a piece of heavy equipment moving some gravel around near the ramps. There is no stocking going on at Parker since the stocking pipe is way under gravel and there is no way for the truck to back close enough to the water to drop fish. Hopefully the parking lot is on the list of things to do, since folks are breaking the tape and parking there anyway. Fishing at the ramp area is a whole new ballgame since the terrain has changed dramatically due to the high water. If you want a better bite, our recommendation is to fish from the gravel bar below the launch ramp closest to the Beaver Dam.The generation for tomorrow is scheduled to be from 7 through 9 AM. and 6 through 8 PM. The high temperature should hit 48º F. under sunny skies with winds from the NNW at 8 MPH, gusting to 13.
