IMG_0175.JPGFishing report for 12-19-15 Got a late start and headed out to the river around 8:30 AM. Fished the gravel bar below the launch ramp closest to the Beaver Dam. There were a couple of fly-fishermen on site who were not doing too well. There was little if any flow, which is not the ideal situation for fly-fishing. Bait fished the gravel bank and caught fish on every color that was thrown, including the 13 inch brown trout in the picture below. Another fisherman arrived as we were leaving. He was using white power bait eggs and was getting bites, but had not yet ‘connected.’ We moved to a spot immediately below the dam, but the bite there was very slow. Checked the time and saw that it was 11:30, well past 'prime time.' Headed to the house just in time to start chores around the homestead. If you get the chance, get yourself and a friend out to fish! Generation is scheduled to be from 3 through 8 PM. The high temperature expected today is 54 degrees F., under sunny skies. The winds are from the south at 6 MPH
