Merry Christmas! What a nice day to try out those new rods that Santa brought you! Fished this morning at Parker Bend where the bite was pretty slow, except for that bite of the wind. Caught trout on white power bait eggs, pink paste bait and on salmon eggs with a touch of a red power egg on the end of the hook to keep the salmon egg adrift. The fish were of a mixed size, anywhere from those who needed a crossing guard to those who should have been filling that position. The sun came up over the bluffs about 10 AM. It took a minute before folks recognized what it was. What a difference it makes to have that ball of fire visible overhead! The temperature is expected to top 50 degrees F. this afternoon; and there is no generation scheduled. Maybe after dinner, some of you will get out there and catch a few. Hope so!
