Heading to the river in the dark A lot of weight bending that rod

Nice stringer of fish

Only fished at Parker Bend this morning due to time constraints. We arrived at 6:30 AM and fished the hole downstream from the ramps. The fish were not as active on the surface as they were yesterday and did not hit on lures tried; but they still made an appreciated showing from below. We caught trout on yellow, red-white & blue, rainbow and white, in order of trout preference. They showed no interest in chartreuse, orange or salmon peach. The bite was pretty good until 7:30, when it slowed appreciably. Although we had to leave, lunch was 'in the bag', so to speak. The young man in these photos decided getting up in the dark is OK, when you get to treat the family to a lunch of fried trout fillets. The morning promised to be great for being out fishing. We were sorry to have to tend to business elsewhere! Tomorrow appears to be another good day in the making. Hope to run into you out there! Generation is scheduled at 44% of capacity from 5 PM through 8 PM. The weather forecast called for a high temperature of 79 degrees F. under mostly sunny skies with northerly winds at 6 MPH.
