Launched at Houseman Access at 7:30 this morning and trolled downstream primarily to check out the electronics, but also to see what was happening in the fish department. We began the morning pulling a Rapala CD-7 black on silver and a Rapala Scatter Rap. The CD 7 was the first to tie into a trout. Since this was a 'research mission.’ changed lures and proceeded downstream. We caught a few trout of nice size in the 70 degree water. Farther downstream we marked a great deal of bait, some schools of white bass and a few bottom-hugging walleye. The morning was very pleasant, and promises the same for tomorrow. Better get out and see for yourself! There is generation scheduled from 2 through 7 PM. at 44% of capacity. The high temperature slated for today is 80 degrees F., under mostly sunny skies with winds from the ESE at 4 MPH. Hope you get to catch some fish over the weekend.
