This morning I fished for an hour at Parker Bend. Sat on the rock wall between the partially covered ramps and cast out into the water just past where the ramps end. The bite was OK, but only about every 6 or 7 minutes. The trout that I caught all were in the ‘slot,' and had gorgeous color. There were three other fishermen on scene, only one of whom was catching trout. One of the others was a fly-fisherman who waded out on the upstream ramp. He did not get a bite while I was there. The fisherman on the downstream ramp was sitting near where the water met the ramp and was doing OK. He caught a couple; however, I do not know what he was using for bait. The trout were on to the lighter colors for me. Since business reared its ugly head, only stayed from 7 to 8 AM. Try to get out and have some fun fishing! There is generation scheduled from 3 through 6 PM today. The high temperature for today is 86 degrees F., under partly sunny skies. The winds should be from the SSW at 8 MPH.
