Fished at Beaver Dam and at Parker Bend yesterday until the rain began to cause me to melt. The trout were biting pretty good, but, like this morning, it was catch and release. This morning, I fished up river from Parker Bend and caught, (and released), trout on the following colors: chunky cheese, garlic, yellow, fluorescent red, salmon peach, hatchery formula, salmon egg red, fluorescent orange, green pumpkin, pink and rainbow. I had left red white and blue along with nymph grape in the truck due to too much stuff in my waist bag. I did not run into any other fishermen on scene. Too bad, since the trout were having a 'food fest.’ As usual, our advice is to try to get out there on the river and enjoy a day of fishing. By the way, I caught the 11 trout in about 30 minutes, so get them while they are hungry! There is no generation scheduled to begin before 7 PM. The predicted high temperature for today is 68 degrees F., under mostly sunny skies, with northerly winds of 5 MPH.
