Launched at Holiday Island early this morning and tried to find white bass in Leatherwood Creek. We did mark what appeared to be the occasional walleye, but we did not try to catch one. There were no whites marked in the cove. (No bait, either.) Moved to the inlet at Beaver and found the same 'story'. The water temperature in the lake near Holiday Island was 47 degrees F.; and at Beaver, it was 46 degrees F. We plan on launching at Houseman early this afternoon to see how the trout are faring with all of the generation that has been going on. We will keep you informed in tomorrow's report. If you plan on going out fishing in the morning, check the forecast! The weather prediction for tomorrow is sunny but with a very cold start.Today, the high predicted is 39 degrees F. under cloudy skies with winds from the NNW at 15 MPH. There is a possibility of showers later in the afternoon. Generation is scheduled to take a rest from 11 AM until 4 PM. After last night's rain, I would not bet that the generation schedule will remain intact. Have a great day, and stay warm!
