Began today by fishing at White Bass Cove. Since I was fishing from the bank, the fish elected to stay out about 75 yards farther than I could cast. They did, however, put on a good show on the surface. Watched as long as I could stand it, then moved back below the Beaver Dam and caught trout. The trout were biting on chunky cheese, by Gulp, but wanted nothing to do with rainbow or pink. A couple who were fishing next to me were using white power bait eggs, and only caught one fish between them by the time I left. Today has promise to be another great day to fish the river, so, what's holding you back. Maybe work? Rats! There is generation scheduled from 7 through 9 PM at 88% of capacity. The weather prediction calls for a high temperature of 70 degrees F., under partly sunny skies, with winds from the ESE at 9 MPH. Rain is on tap for this evening, stretching through 7 AM. Go out, have fun and try to keep dry!
