Fished both yesterday and today downstream from Bertrand Launch Ramp.  In the last report, I mentioned that one could walk the bank down river from the launch ramp to Spider Creek where the bite usually is much better than that at the ramp.  Yesterday, I caught 7 within an hour.  This morning, I caught 10 and missed four in 50 minutes.  Those fishermen at the ramp were still trying to get one on their stringer.  Take a chair with you if you decide to try your luck down toward Spider Creek.  All of the fish that I have caught above Spider Creek in the past two mornings appeared to be ‘stockers.'  Yesterday, the only bait color used was salmon peach, while today, rainbow did the trick.  Hope you get to go out and see what you can do down toward Spider Creek!
There is generation scheduled from 1 through 7 PM today.  High temperature is expected to hit 87º F. under partly sunny skies with a chance of afternoon thundershowers.  Winds are from the east at 6 MPH.
