What a great Friday for fishing! Our guide, Grandpa Sam, had some special fishing companions. His grandson visiting from Miami caught his limit of trout today (and supplied lunch for all). And if that isn’t special enough, Sam's former exchange student from Germany was visiting and brought her father along for his first fishing trip ever. Dad from Germany also caught his limit of trout while daughter managed to catch a few in between bouts of feeding the fish. The story of slow bite and changing bait colors often from yesterday was repeated today. Things did pick up when they managed to find that a fishing hole below Spider Creek Island normally not too productive was filled with hungry trout. When the rain started and all aboard chilled quickly, it was time to call it a day.
Saturday is to be in the 80s again with a chance of early thunderstorms and light winds.
